Wholeness Remnants Fragments

£10.00

This publication accompanies the exhibition at the Crafts Study Centre 25th February 2025 to 26 April 2025. A reflection on the changing narratives and landscapes of repair, thinking through the Crafts Study Centre collection, along with objects and texts made and collated by Maiko Tsutsumi and Bridget Harvey.

The on-going conversation between Bridget and Maiko dates back to 2012, their focus centred around questions such as why we make, and how the mindset of material practitioners might be useful for today’s society. These questions informed their discussions and research, and were important when supporting their students at Camberwell College of Art, UAL, in establishing a meaningful practice, in both personal and societal contexts. Reflecting their working methods, the conversation is multi-modal, holistic and non-linear, and welcomes chance as a regular contributor to the arc of its trajectory.

Publication consists of a card folder with card inserts 15cm x 21cm
