This exhibition in the Tanner Gallery (7 January to 28 June 2014) draws together objects collected by the founder Trustees of the Crafts Study Centre 44 years ago, and compares them with objects selected over the last 10 years, since the Centre opened at its new museum premises at UCA in Farnham. This is the first of two exhibitions on the theme in 2014 and will reflect on the collecting history and aspirations of the Crafts Study Centre, its curatorial tastes and the guidance of members of its acquisitions committee .
