I attended the private view for the exhibition by Magdalene Odundo at The Hepworth Wakefield. It is a remarkable and very moving exhibition. Not only does it present, in a stunning arrangement, more of Magdalene’s pots than have ever been seen in a museum display, it sets them in the context of art, sculpture and craft artefacts drawn from a wide range of cultures and times.
